There once was a time, when I had a garden,
A place where I could go, to spend time with You,
Blossoms and Willow’s bough, filled that sweet Garden,
Their beauty was over-shadowed, by the essence of You,
There You would whisper, the sweetest things to me,
Blushing I’d whisper, sweet things back to You,
Consumed with each other, time flew by so swiftly,
I was caught up in Rapture, each time I met You,
The Cold Wind was jealous, and plotted against us,
Swollen with anger, in a rage he did blow,
Crushing the Blossoms, petal by petal,
Attempting to destroy,the tender Willow
When the Wind ceased, I ran to my Garden,
Blossoms and Willow bough, lay on the ground,
The Wind resumed blowing, as soon as I entered,
I listened for Your voice, but only heard the Wind’s sound,
I ran from my Garden’s, apparent destruction,
Ran from the sight of it, battered and bruised,
shocked at the outcome, of Cold Winds a blowing,
I left our sweet Garden, bewildered and confused,
Time seemed to drag by,weighed down with Loneliness,
A stranger,whom I’d never known before,
I longed for our Garden, and You in the midst of it,
I wondered could our Garden, ever be restored,
Then one day by ‘chance’, I passed by our Garden,
I smelled sweet Blossoms, Willow waved in the air,
I sensed Your Presence, and ran into our Garden,
And oh my Beloved, I’ve found You there,
oh my Beloved, I’ve found You there.
