The Seasons

The Season’s

In spring we grumble, as we mow,

And wish the grass, would grow more slow,

We sweat beneath, the burning sun,

Complain of summer, til it’s done,

Then autumn brings us, falling leaves,

We ache for winters, brief reprieve,

When winter comes, with ice and snow,

We want spring to come, and winter to go,

When will we learn, to bless each day,

And quit wishing, our short lives away.

c.d.m. 7-1-10

The Bible teaches that this life is short, when compared to eternity.
