The Dance,12/2/06 A whisper from the Lily Bed,[look for others]

 

Here I stand,at the base of the mountain,,

Seeking the One,Who dwells at the crest,,

In the twilight,my feet at times stumble,,

Yet in my heart,my soul is at rest,,,

Stretching,,yearning,,climbing further,,

Ever onward and upward,I press,,

With each step, my heart beats more rapid,,

Each step brings me,nearer the crest,,,

On the wind,I hear a sound dancing,,

Oh from the distance, it falls on my ear,,

A sound so faint,it almost escapes me,,

I bend my neck,til finally I hear,,,

He’s wooing,,calling,,drawing me further,,

The music of His heart,,now becomes clear,,

He calls,but it is I,,who must answer,,

Allowing His song, to draw my heart near,,,

Finally to the crest,I have risen,,

I behold sights,such as never beheld,,

Thunder,lightening,a vast cloud of Glory,,

Beautiful vision,completely unveiled,,,

Excitement turns to,God fearing reverence,,

I bend,and then bow,and fall to the ground,,

Completely over whelmed,by His Presence,,

He gathers me up,and We dance around,,,

And We dance,

In wild abandonment,We dance,

We gaze into each others eyes,Our hearts desires are realised,

Oh and We dance,,,

And We dance,

To passions melody,We dance,

I’m in Him,and He’s in me,

In love forever,We will be,

oh and We dance,,,,
