From the Nook,,Is the candle still burning?

Is the candle, still burning,,,

Does the warm light, yet glow,,,

Is it hid,neath a basket,,,

So the flame does not show,,,

Or does it brightly shine out,,,

From your loving heart,,,

A lamp in the darkness,,,

God’s light to impart,,,

In this season of giving,,,

Decorations shine bright,,,

Take care that your candle,,,

Burns bright in the night,,,                                          12/18/08 c.d.m.

Lord,,help us to,,truly remember,,the reason, for the season..That we do not glibly repeat cliches,,but repeat with our actions, Your words of life,,Help us share Your gift of Life,,in this season when we celebrate,Your life,,,Let us shine as candles unto You,Lord,,in Your precious name we pray,,amen                  Merry,Merry Christmas,to all,,,                     sis.c

    Cheryl,
this post reminded me of memories of the kids being young,,and David, their Father, always going on and on and on and on about “the true meaning of Christmas”, he did it every single year and now the grandkids have the pleasure of his lectures…
My husband wanted the kids to know the true meaning of Christmas.
